Isatta Coomber

Isatta helped shape African Collaborative’s communications in its early years, working closely with the team on content strategy, editorial planning, and event logistics. These days, she focuses on the behind-the-scenes work that helps a small team run well.

She has always enjoyed taking complex ideas and making them easy to understand, and she brings that same instinct to how an organization works day to day.

Isatta is drawn to organizations that center underserved and overlooked communities. As a first-generation American, she takes pride in the continent that birthed her parents and ancestors, and in supporting the team that brings African Collaborative’s work to life.

Isatta holds a BSBA in Marketing and an MA in Communication from Suffolk University. Outside of work, she’s usually on a scenic trail with her dogs, and she’s always open to new Reddit threads or Substacks to add to her list.
