Michelle Wanjala
Michelle Wanjala is an experienced grants management specialist who excels at optimizing grant procedures and overseeing grant systems that guarantee efficient, transparent, and appropriate resource allocation. She has worked in a number of grantmaking positions for globally recognized organizations, contributing to the creation of grant mechanisms and promotion of effective program operation.
Over the course of her career, Michelle has collaborated with leading international funding partners, including the Wellcome Trust, DFID, USAID, the Royal Society, UKAID, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Her expertise spans across grant coordination, grant systems administration and management, compliance monitoring, donor relations, and streamlining grant processes to enhance operational efficiency and impact.
Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Outside of work, she enjoys watching hockey games.
